OUR STRATEGY While the purpose of the Model Home project remains grounded in honoring and serving those affected by this catastrophe, we aspire to bring light to our projects for the purpose of enlightening the American youth on the opportunities to serve. We plan to capture this experience in picture and video to expose and inspire young people to the cause. We will show honest reaction of the extent of need currently being experienced by the people of New Orleans; then, to meet that need with the giving of time, resources, and genuine interaction. The Model Home Project is working in conjunction with sponsors to employ an aggressive viral marketing plan to spread the message of this project through established channels around the nation. This strategy will utilize the Internet to begin a grass roots awareness of the Model Home Project and draw people to the idea, educate them to the purpose and vision of this campaign, and ultimately, inspire them to act. The Model Home Project has also put together an aggressive yet realistic PR plan to get the project out to different demographics around the US, thereby exponentially increasing the effectiveness of this mission. We believe that if this is executed properly, we will have youth around the country volunteering and pursuing the opportunity to serve those less fortunate than themselves. |
